My inner geek exploded when I got the opportunity to travel all the way to New Zealand and be part of the Compositing team at Weta Digital to work on the second installment of the Hobbit trilogy. The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug. I worked mainly on the Mirkwood sequence as well as some shots on the Dol Goldur sequence.
